Phil's Priorities
Phil believes leadership starts with understanding the concerns of the people who live here. Our roads, infrastructure, flooding, taxes, recreation and future deserve leaders who listen, ask questions and most importantly, take action. As Mayor, Phil will focus on practical solutions, responsible planning, and bringing residents together to address the issues that matter most. It's time we start putting Allendale first!
Phil believes keeping Allendale safe is one of the most important responsibilities of local government. He will support efforts that strengthen public safety, address community concerns, and ensure our neighborhoods remain safe and welcoming for families.
Allendale's new community center is an important investment in our community, but it's important to make sure it's being used to its full potential. Phil believes we should explore more programs, activities, events, and opportunities for residents of all ages so the center becomes a true gathering place for our community.
Reliable water and sewer systems are essential to every resident and every family in Allendale. Phil believes when it comes to critical infrastructure decisions that impact our homes, health, and finances, Allendale residents deserve clear communication, thoughtful long-term planning and responsible oversight.
Our roads are one of the most visible signs of how our town is being maintained. Potholes, deteriorating pavement, and unsafe underpasses are affecting everyone who lives, works, walks or drives in Allendale.
Managing taxpayer dollars requires careful planning and accountability. Phil believes the borough must make responsible financial decisions, prioritize essential services, and look for opportunities while protecting Allendale's long-term financial future. That includes actively pursuing state, county, and federal grants to fund eligible projects and improvements, reducing the burden on local taxpayers and making sure Allendale takes full advantage of funding opportunities available to our community.

Phil believes responsible planning means carefully evaluating housing borough and state requirements, understanding their impact on infrastructure and taxpayers, and ensuring residents have a voice in decisions that will shape the future of our borough.
